Passing through the Langtang National Park and small Tamang villages, heritage farmlands and verdant forests, rolling green hills and snow-capped peaks, Buddhist culture into enchanting rhododendron-pines-magnolia and oaks trees lines with grand views. We start our Hike from the lower region of Langtang Valley across small villages, farmlands and verdant forest towards Kyangin Gompa. From Kyangin Gompa, the trail climbs gradually to Kyanjin Ri (4,700 m), and Tserko Ri (5,000 M) where you can experience the enchanting sunrise over the Langtang ranges. The Langtang Region Trekking Packages was once an important trading route as it borders Tibet. You can still see the influence of local culture in the area. This trekking also takes you through villages with unique geographic and cultural lineages where you can be awed by the humility and hospitality of the local residents.   • 2Drive from Kathmandu (1324 M) To Syabrubesi (1,465 M) Duration: 6 - 7 Hours.Early in the morning, we leave Kathmandu for Sybrubensi. The drive will be on winding roads, and we might get the opportunity to view beautiful mountains, including Jugal Himal and Ganesh Himal. We reach Sybrubensi late in the afternoon, and you can spend the rest of the day as you wish.

  • 3Trek from Sybrubensi (1,465 M) To Lama Hotel (2,410 M) Duration: 7 - 8 Hours.After breakfast, we begin our trek towards the Lama Hotel along the Langtang Khola. We ascend through uninhabited oak and rhododendron forests to reach Bamboo Village (1,970 m). We again continue as the trails lead us through a forested path with plenty of local wildlife. We ascend to a bamboo forest and reach the Lama Hotel after crossing it.

  • 4Trek from Lama Hotel (2,410 M) To Langtang Village (3,430 M) Duration: 7 - 8 Hours.We continue our uphill trek towards Langtang Village. You will be able to observe the euphoric views of the white peaks of Langtang range after reaching Ghoda Tabela, Langtang Village was affected by the earthquake in April 2015. Here you will be visiting the sites that were affected the most by the earthquake and can assess the means that are being taken to recover from the destruction.

  • 5Trek from Langtang Village (3,430 M) To Kyanjin Ri (4,700 M) And Back to Kyanjin Gompa (3,830 M) Duration: 7 - 8 Hours.The next day, we continue our journey towards Kyangin Gompa, which is a principal monastery of the region. We pass through small streams, yak pastures, and moraines for 3 to 4 hours to reach Kyanjin Gompa. Here you get mesmerizing views of mountain peaks like Langtang Lirung (7,227 m), Langtang II (6,596 m), and numerous others. After lunch we will hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,700 m). The Kyanjin Ri, situated in the Langtang region of Nepal, is a popular viewpoint known for its stunning panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas, including Langtang Lirung, the highest peak in the region. It's a short but rewarding hike from Kyanjin Gompa.

  • 6Acclimatization Rest Day at Kyanjin Gompa (3,830 M) And Hike to Tserko Ri (5,000 M) Duration: 7 - 8 Hours.We spend the whole day exploring Tserko Ri which will also help us acclimatize to the high altitude. We begin early in the morning. The trail passes through yak pastures before ascending to Tserko Ri. The sunrise view from the top of Tserko Ri is extraordinary. We get back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon and explore the beautiful monastery while enjoying views of the Himalayas, glaciers, birds and yaks.

  • 7Trek from Kyanjin Gompa (3,830 M) To Lama Hotel (2,410 M) Duration: 7 - 8 Hours.We begin our trek after breakfast and retrace our steps to Lama Hotel. Most of the trekking today will be downhill as we pass through forests and beautiful Tamang villages. We also get to enjoy different view of the Himalayas that we had missed climbing up.

  • 8Trek from Lama Hotel (2,410 M) To Syabrubesi (1,465 M) Duration: 6 - 7 Hours.This is the last walking day of the trek. We again retrace our steps back to Sybrubensi, bidding farewell to the Lama Hotel and the gorgeous Langtang region. The trek will be easier than the ascend given that our trek will be walking downhill.

  • 9Drive from Syabrubesi (1,465 M) To Kathmandu (1,324 M) Duration: 6 - 7 Hours.After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. We spend the rest of the day packing and maybe catching up on some last-minute souvenir shopping. Reasonable Treks and Tour will celebrate our successful trip in the Langtang Valley by hosting a farewell dinner.

Langtang Valley Trekking Located at the northern region of Nepal, Langtang lies near the border between Nepal and China. You can either take a bus or hire a vehicle to reach Langtang Valley Trekking. You will find public buses leaving for Syabrubesi, for which you will have to book tickets to get a seat. Hiring a private 4-wheeler jeep is also a feasible idea. However, this can be expensive, as they will charge you by the day and may even charge you for the fuel. Like all treks, you have to carry only what is needed. Your porter will have a designated weight you can give him. But it is important to only pack the essentials that you will definitely use on your trip. The ideal backpack would consist of

They can guide you through the routes as well as help you with any emergencies. Guides are like companions for your trekking. They don't just carry out their tasks as guides but help you with the lodges and all communication tasks so that everything is smooth. They will keep you on schedule and make sure everything is going according to plan. The number of guides and porters depends on the group you have. The larger the group, the more porters and guides are required.

Electricity/Recharge & Internet on Langtang Valley Trekking.

Since the availability of Wi-Fi is now widespread, you will get internet services at various tea houses around the lower region. The normal Nepali SIM cards will also work at the lower-altitude regions of Langtang Valley Trekking. However, once you gain a great attitude, you will neither find internet not will the normal SIM cards work. You will need the Sky SIM to make calls, which provides coverage in many areas. You will find landlines at some teahouses. Similarly, electricity will be available at tea houses, and as you go higher, you will be charged for its use. You will need to pay hourly, up to $2-4, for charging your appliances.

You can choose your own group size according to your preference. You may have to hire more porters and guides according to the size of your group. You may require a set of crew members if you are planning to go on camping Hikes. You will need porters, guides, cooks, etc. They will help you set up camps as you go. For other Hike, your group members must be skilled in navigating. However, travel agencies will assist you with guides, assistant guides, and porters. You can carry some common medications that can be used to deal with a headache, flu, stomach problems, etc. If you travel with a guide, he will also most likely have a first aid kit. One of the risks of traveling to high altitude is altitude sickness. When you travel at high altitudes, the oxygen density lowers. To keep going, you have to maintain a slow and steady pace, exerting minimum pressure on your body. The biggest threat of altitude sickness is that it cannot be cured or gotten rid of instantly. Symptoms of altitude sickness include shortness of breath, fatigue, insomnia, headache, nausea, etc. If you experience any of these, stop your hike and take some medications or descend right away. Medications such as Diamox can help you in dire situations. By staying hydrated, getting adequate rest, and acclimatizing to the location, you can avoid altitude complications. Acclimatization is an absolutely necessary part of any high-altitude travel. This is the only way your body can deal with the increase in altitude. Acclimatization helps your body produce more red blood cells, this increases the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood, thus making your body adjust to the altitude change. This process can require up to hours and even days. But it is best to not take any risk and give your body the maximum amount of rest you can.
